What's new at kuchinate
Kuchinate (which means “crochet” in Tigrinya) was founded to provide economic and psychosocial empowerment to the most vulnerable segment of the African asylum-seeking community in 2011. Since then Kuchinate has enabled hundreds of vulnerable women to rebuild their lives and build resilience and economic independence through developing their handicraft skills, commercial, and administrative skills, through providing psychosocial assistance and intervention services, and hosting groups for traditional coffee ceremonies and crochet workshops in our studio.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We are a non for profit organization with all the profits from sales going back into the social causes of the organization. We could not continue to thrive in providing holistic support to the ever increasing needs of our women without the assistance of good people like you.
