Stav has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and African Studies from Ben Gurion University. Over the past five years, Stav has been working and volunteering with the asylum-seeking community in Israel, including having managed the Center for Refugees in the Negev, as well as the project manager for the Tamar Golan Africa Center.
